Green Apple Category: Green Comments(7)- February 19, 2007 Last night I set up a mini studio in my bedroom to take some photos if this apple. I had four table lamps and my camera on top a tripod connected to my laptop and saving the images directly to my hard drive. This setup wasn't nearly as complex as the one I had almost two months ago when I was taking photos of coffee droplets. There I also had a flash and an eye dropper. Perhaps next time I'll photograph the smoke patterns of a blown out match.

The lighting is different, the apple almost doesn't look real.

the apple almost looks like it was photoshoped into the picture. i dont think that is a bad thing. it means your good at positioning lights to make things look 3d. i like how you got the different shades of green in there. looks great!

I am a very very amateur photographer just starting to post here. I like the simplicity and the ability to use lighting to get the variations of green.
I just bought a Nikon Digital Single Lens Reflex and learning to use it - the learning curve is steep but I am loving it.

Gorgeous -- I especially love the colors in the shadows reflecting some of the apple-tint and some almost cerulean blue.
