Meteor Shower
Comments(7)- August 14, 2007The night before last, when everyone was sound asleep in their beds I was in a park staring at the sky. The Perseids meteor shower started at about 2am here in Toronto and probably went the whole night. I saw a whole bunch of meteors fly through the sky, at a rate of 60 meteors per hour, but only caught one on camera. This one was extra special, even after it flew by it's trail was still visible for a second or so. It was really hard to shoot the sky and I'm lucky I captured this photo. There's a lot of light pollution in the city and a 5 minute exposure resulted in the sky being red and very light. The first photo was desaturated and I edited he levels to darken the sky. About a year ago: A Woodbridge Sunset
