Rocket Ship Category: Building Sky Comments(13)- January 14, 2007 I've been watching a lot of Top Gear and oh man, what a great show that is. I'm not even someone who likes cars that much, but this is the best car show I've ever seen. But the show doesn't stop at showing great cars, it's also very original and humorous. And the camera work is just fantastic.

Nice shot. As others have mentioned, well composed and the houses add to the image. Polarizing filter to get the contrast in the sky?

Great shot! I just posted my shot and then clicked the first image (which is yours) and laughed, I'm #36, as there are going to be at least 2, maybe MORE contrail shots! Yours is beautiful. As others have said, the colors and composition are amazing, but I'll add that the webbing of clouds throughout add a lovely texture to the sky. Great eye!

I also love the camera work in Top Gear, the cameramen have a great sence for angles and light.

About your photo, I also love that you have kept the houses in the bottom. The sky is superb, and the trail after the rocket ship is smoothening out into two trails. I think it's beatiful.
